"What's Lurking In Your Crawlspace / Attic?" A question that every homeowner should know the answer to. The majority of the air that occupies these spaces has a very good chance of finding its way into the living area of your home; into the air that you breathe. If high levels of moisture are present in these areas, microbial activity, structural damage, insects, and other nasty's have the ideal place to manifest.
These areas aren't normally frequented by your typical homeowner. If you are the adventurous type and you don't mind venturing into these areas, will you be able to identify the slight indicators that over time can turn into large scale expensive projects. If you are not, who can you trust to give you an honest assessment of conditions that may negatively affect the air you breathe inside the home?
Fresh Air's Certified Program© is designed to identify and solve potential indoor air quality problems that may exist in your home. It is a 17-point review of the property that addresses issues that are known to contribute to poor indoor air quality and recommendations on how to solve these problems. The information collected during the site visit is compiled in an easy to understand report that is generated on the spot. Issues are depicted in photographs and prioritized using a simple color coded format.
By using this proactive approach, homeowners are made aware of the unknowns that may negatively affect the indoor air quality of the home; repairs can be made within their budget and at their own pace. By making the repairs, the aesthetics of the home will improve increasing the value of the property. When all of the recommended repair items are completed, the home gains the designation of Fresh Air Certified©. What this means is that the parameters that can negatively affect the indoor air quality of the home have been checked and maintained to our standard. An assurance that the air they breathe in their home is cleaner and has a healthier living environment.
* The program does not take the place of a certified home inspection and report.
